How do I direct Godaddy's nameservers to your hosting?

Wed Mar 05, 2014 10:03 pm

If you bought your domain at Godaddy and you want to use our free cloud hosting, all you need to do is direct your domain's nameservers to our cloud hosting. If you will not want to use our hosting anymore you will just need to direct the nameservers to another hosting and that is all. We give you the necessary nameservers in the member's area, you just need to provide your domain name. They usually look like this:

ns-1830.awsdns-36.co.uk
ns-1218.awsdns-24.org
ns-608.awsdns-12.net
ns-484.awsdns-60.com

That is, 4 or 3 lines of text.

In order to point your domain to our free cloud hosting just do the following:
Changing Name Servers

Important: you need to click "Add nameservers" because you will need to fill in 4 fields instead of 2 as in the example.

Another short description:

To Set Custom Nameservers for a Domain Name

Log in to your Account Manager.
Next to Domains, click Launch.
Select the domain name(s) you want to modify.
From the Nameservers menu, select Set Nameservers.
Under Setup type, select Custom.
Select Add Nameservers.
Enter the nameservers we gave you.
Click Save.
